I can’t remember not writing stories. When I was a little girl, we spent every summer at my grandmother’s house in Kent. I used to spend all my pocket money on lined jotters from the newsagent around the corner, and I would spend all summer sitting at the table, eating apples and writing.
When I was eleven, I had a story published in the local paper. Fired up by my success, I submitted a pony book (hand typed, double spaced, perfectly packaged) at the age of 12, after a summer of feverish typing. Not surprisingly, I received my first rejection slip.
Besides this blog, you can find my writing at the global website, In the Powder Room.
I’ve just finished my first novel, a contemporary romance set on a Scottish island. For more about it, have a look at the tag entitled Sealed with a Kiss.
You can find a little snippet of the first draft here and another bit here.
Exciting news – have a look here to see Sealed with a Kiss at no1 in the Harper Collins Authonomy Chart for unpublished writers!
